Team to watch
Much of the next wave of exciting Dodgers prospects can be found at Single-A Rancho Cucamonga. One of the fastest players in last year's Draft, Lindsey went in the first round and gives off some Trea Turner vibes. Quintero and Vargas have impressive offensive ceilings and teamed up to win championships in the Dominican Summer League in 2023 and the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League last summer. Toolsy outfielders Sirota and Elkins add even more depth to the Quakes' lineup. Jang struck out 41 percent of the batters he faced in his introduction to pro ball last year, thanks to a riding fastball that reaches 99 mph and a tight mid-80s slider.
Players we could see in MLB in 2025
The Dodgers have begun giving Rushing time in left field and at first base in order to find a way to get him some big league at-bats. If Mookie Betts doesn't stick at shortstop, Freeland could be Los Angeles' next-best option. Wrobleski -- who made six starts in the Majors last year -- and Frasso will add pitching depth as needed.
New faces
Every team coveted Sasaki before the Dodgers signed him in January for a $6.5 million signing bonus, and he headed straight to the big league rotation. Los Angeles' first two picks in the 2024 Draft, Lindsey and Harlan (third round) will make their pro debuts this spring. Sirota joined the organization as part of the Gavin Lux trade with the Reds in January.

On the shelf
Ryan, Henriquez and Hurt are on the big league injured list. Ryan and Hurt will miss the entire season following Tommy John surgery last summer, while Henriquez should return from a broken bone in his left foot sometime this month. Harlan (hip surgery rehab), Swan (building up innings), Bruns (back) and Miller (meniscus surgery rehab) are all working their way to full health in extended Spring Training. Swan and Miller could be ready by the end of April.
