Senior Vice President, Business Strategy
Royce Cohen is the Senior Vice President of Business Strategy for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Currently in his 16th season in the baseball industry, he built and manages the Dodger¡¯s Business Strategy and Analytics department. Additionally, he manages strategic planning for various revenue streams, directs the building of internal data systems and processes, drives the organization¡¯s marketing priorities, and negotiates contracts with several club partners.
Cohen led the creation of and oversees Dodgers 365, which manages all the Dodgers¡¯ non-baseball revenue streams, including stadium events and initiatives outside of Dodger Stadium.
Alongside Billie Jean King, Ilana Kloss, and Stan Kasten, he is a member of the Advisory Board for the Professional Women¡¯s Hockey League and was instrumental in the formation of the league, including in the acquisition of assets of the Premier Hockey Federation and the negotiation of a collective bargaining agreement with the Professional Women¡¯s Hockey Players¡¯ Association, and is also integral in the day-to-day operations of the six-team league that plays in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Minnesota, New York, and Boston.
Cohen also works alongside Elysian Park Ventures, the Dodgers¡¯ venture capital arm that has invested in over 70 companies. Through EPV, he led the creation of Demand Analytics, a SaaS platform that integrates and automates dynamic pricing, sales forecasting, and market mix modeling for tickets to live events.
A native of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, Cohen graduated summa cum laude from The Wharton School in 2012 and was named one of Sports Business Journal¡¯s 2023 Forty Under 40 honorees.
