Brosseau broke camp in 2023 with the Brewers but struggled to a .205/.256/.397 (15-for-73, .654 OPS) in just 29 games (78 PA) through June 4...he was optioned to Triple-A Nashville for a month before being designated for assignment on July 5 and outrighted off the 40-man roster July 9... In 20 Triple-A games, he struggled to a .164 batting average (12-for-73) with four home runs... On July 27, 2023, he was released by Milwaukee to pursue an opportunity to play with the Chiba Lotte Marines in Japan, where he played in 37 games in the Pacific League (equivalent to Japan¡¯s MLB).
