Here¡¯s a quick rundown of everything you need to know to get ready for the start of the 2025 season:
When is the first workout for pitchers and catchers?

Where is the team¡¯s facility?
The Giants train at Scottsdale Stadium, which is located at 7408 East Osborn Road in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Can fans attend workouts?
Workouts at Scottsdale Stadium are generally open to the public when the Giants do not have a home game scheduled. Entry is through Home Plate Plaza on the corner of Osborn Road and Drinkwater Blvd.
Who are some new faces fans should know?
San Francisco signed two players to Major League deals this offseason: shortstop Willy Adames (seven years, $182 million) and veteran right-hander Justin Verlander (one year, $15 million).
Who are some of the top prospects invited to Major League camp?
Two of the Giants' top prospects -- first baseman Bryce Eldridge (the club¡¯s No. 1 prospect per MLB Pipeline) and left-hander Carson Whisenhunt (No. 3) -- will be among the 20 non-roster invitees in big league camp this year.
When is the team¡¯s first Cactus League game?
The Giants will open their Cactus League slate on Feb. 22 against Bruce Bochy¡¯s Rangers at Surprise Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 12:05 p.m. PT.
What are a few other notable spring games?
San Francisco¡¯s Cactus League home opener is on Feb. 23 against the Reds at 12:05 p.m. PT. The Giants have three matchups scheduled with the A¡¯s, who will play in West Sacramento this year following their departure from Oakland: Feb. 25 at Hohokam Stadium in Mesa, and March 11 and 16 at Scottsdale Stadium. They¡¯ll play their lone Cactus League game against the archrival Dodgers on March 1 at Camelback Ranch in Glendale.
What is Spring Breakout and when is the game?
Spring Breakout is a league-wide event meant to showcase baseball¡¯s future and the current stars of Minor League Baseball. For the second straight year, each Major League club will team up 20 to 25 of its top prospects to play exhibitions against another organization¡¯s top prospects.
San Francisco¡¯s prospect team will take on Rangers prospects at 5:05 p.m. PT on March 15 at Scottsdale Stadium, with the Giants and Mariners facing off beforehand as part of a doubleheader.
Will the team¡¯s games be televised?
Five Giants exhibition games will be televised on NBC Sports Bay Area: March 8 against the Royals; March 11 and 16 against the A¡¯s; and March 24 and 25 against the Tigers. Fifteen games will be carried on KNBR 680, while 13 others will be available via an audiocast on sfgiants.com.

When is the club¡¯s last game in Arizona?
San Francisco will close out its Cactus League slate on March 22, when the club is scheduled to host the division-rival D-backs at 1:05 p.m. PT.
Will there be any additional exhibitions before the regular season?
After leaving Arizona, the Giants will head to Sutter Health Park for an exhibition game against their Triple-A affiliate, the Sacramento River Cats, on March 23 at 5:07 p.m. PT. They¡¯ll conclude their preseason schedule with a two-game series against the Tigers at Oracle Park on March 24-25.
What are the details for Opening Day?
The Giants will kick off the 2025 campaign on March 27, when they¡¯ll head to Cincinnati to face the Reds at 1:10 p.m. PT.
