Spring Training is almost here. The Pirates will be kicking off another camp in Bradenton, Fla. next week, and they¡¯re just two weeks away from their first Grapefruit League game. After another offseason of waiting, a new year is about to begin.
Before the players¡¯ planes land in Florida and the grounds crew starts preparing the field, let¡¯s take a look at what you need to know for Spring Training.
When are the first workouts?
Pitchers and catchers will have their first workout on Feb. 12, and the first full squad workout will be Feb. 17.
Where is the team¡¯s facility?

Who are some new faces fans should know?
Two of the team¡¯s five free agent signings this winter are familiar faces: Andrew McCutchen and Adam Frazier. Caleb Ferguson and Tim Mayza have been brought in to add some lefties to the roster, and Tommy Pham is set to be one of the team¡¯s primary outfielders.
Perhaps the most notable acquisition is Spencer Horwitz, who the Pirates picked up in a trade with the Guardians and is now set to be their first baseman.
Who are some of the top prospects invited to Major League camp?
All four of the Pirates¡¯ representatives on MLB Pipeline¡¯s Top 100 prospects list will be in Major League camp: Right-handed pitchers Bubba Chandler (No. 15) and Thomas Harrington (No. 80), and infielders Konnor Griffin (No. 43) and Termarr Johnson (No. 83).
