Full name is Isaiah Lyn Campbell...Earned a degree in criminal justice from the University of Arkansas in 2020...In four seasons, went 20-9 with a 3.15 ERA (77 ER/220.1 IP) in 50 games (41 starts)...Was originally selected by the Angels in the 24th round of the 2018 First-Year Player Draft but elected to stay at Arkansas for his senior season...Graduated from South High School (Olathe, Kan.) with a 4.125 GPA...Was a member of the National Honor Society...Earned the Mariners’ 2021 Dan Wilson Minor League Community Service Award for his effort in the Everett community during the season, as well as his participation in a 2020 literacy program...During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, Campbell assisted with a literacy program with former Mariner Dan Wilson, reading to children with reading disabilities through Zoom while in-person restrictions were in place...In 2023, visited Washington Elementary School (Olathe, KS), where his sister, Taylor, works as a special education teacher...Played with children and read to kindergarteners during his visit...Participated in the Red Sox Rookie Development Program in January 2024...The program included an RBI clinic with the Red Sox Foundation, and a visit to Boston Children’s Hospital...Attended Red Sox Winter Weekend in January 2024, signing autographs and posing for pictures with fans.

Made his MLB debut, appearing in 27 games over two stints with SEA despite having never previously pitched above the Double-A level...Was one of eight rookies to make at least 25 appearances and post an ERA below 3.00 (2.83)…In the majors, struck out 45.8% of his lefties faced...Held LHH to a .163 AVG/.483 OPS (7-for-43, 1 XBH) and RHH to a .242 AVG/.704 OPS (15-for-62, 5 XBH)…In 23 games with Triple-A Arkansas, went 6-0 with a 2.63 ERA (7 ER/24.0 IP)…Allowed zero runs in his final seven outings (7.0 IP, beginning 6/13) and zero hits in his final six games (6.0 IP, 0-for-18, beginning 6/20).

Went 1-4 with 11 saves and a 1.57 ERA (8 ER, 46.0 IP) with 12 walks and 59 strikeouts in 33 games (four starts) between High-A Everett (19 G, 4 GS) and Double-A Arkansas (14 G)....Made starts in each of his first five appearances of the season, before transitioning to a relief role...made bullpen debut June 4 vs. Eugene (1.0 IP, 2 SO) and notched his first save June 11 at Hillsboro...Transferred to Double-A Arkansas midway through the season, making his debut at the level Aug. 3 vs. Midland (1.0 IP, 2 H, 2 SO)...registered his first save with the Travelers in his final appearance of the season on Sept. 15 vs. Corpus Christi...Spent time on the 7-day Injured List from April 27-June 3...Named a Northwest League All-Star and an MiLB.com Organization All-Star.

2021

Appeared in 5 games with High-A Everett, making his professional debut at Hillsboro (4.0 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 4 SO)...was placed on the 7-day Injured List from June 8 and transferred to the 60-day IL on July 13, where he spent the remainder of the season. 

2020

Did not appear due to the cancellation of the minor league season (COVID-19).

2019

Did not appear in a game due to right elbow injury.
