Parents are Brian and Sonja...has a brother, Colton and a sister, Karlie....Earned four varsity letters at Lisbon High School in Iowa, where he was named an IHSBCA All-Star as a senior, all-state honors as a junior and senior, all-conference performer as a senior, district Co-MVP and first-team AllIowa following senior campaign...hit .492 with 16 doubles, nine triples and eight home runs while stealing 29 bases as a senior....Played one season at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, making 32 appearances on the season....Transferred to Texas Christian University, where he was named to the 2021 NCAA Fort Worth All-Regional Team and a 2nd-team All-Big 12 selection...also earned Big 12 Pitcher of the Week honors (April 5, 2021), and was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week (March 29, 2021).

Appeared in 22 games (making 21 starts) between Single-A Lake Elsinore and Single-A Fort Wayne, posting a cumulative 2.72 ERA (33 ER, 109.1 IP)...After working just 4.1 innings in 2022, he posted 50.0 IP in 2023 with LE and 59.1 IP with FW (109.1 IP in total)...Began the season with LE, making 11 appearances (10 starts), and he owned a 2.34 ERA in his 50.0 innings... opponents hit just .243 against him (46-for-189)...For the Storm, allowed just one home run in his 216 batters faced...with Fort Wayne, allowed four home runs in 254 batters faced...In the month of May, made four appearances (three starts) and owned a 1.27 ERA (3 ER, 21.1 IP) with a .218 opponent average and 1.03 WHIP...Left-handed hitters hit .216 against the southpaw while with LE...righties hit .250 against him...After his start on June 20, was promoted to FW on June 27, making his debut with the club on June 29 @ Lake County... allowed two runs on 5.0 innings for the win...Had his best month with FW in July, posting a 1.64 ERA (4 ER, 22.0 IP) in four appearances (all starts), with a .250 opponents' average...Went 5-3 with the TinCaps where he finished his season with a 3.03 ERA (20 ER, 59.1 IP)...opponents hit just .196 (11- for-56) against him with RISP while with FW...Struck out 65 batters with FW while allowing 21 walks... between LE and FW, he fanned 124 batters and allowed 43 free passes...Forced opposing hitters to ground into 11 double plays (seven with LE and four with FW)...Appeared in one Postseason game for FW on Sept. 15 @ Great Lakes, going 3.0 scoreless innings with one hit allowed...Also made one Postseason appearance with SA on Sept. 22 vs. Amarillo, tossing 2.1 innings with a run allowed on two hits.
