R.A. Dickey's knuckleball caused Adrian Beltre to involuntarily take a knee and toss his bat

Well, Adrian Beltre did it again. He did the kind of thing in the batter's box in Friday's game with the Blue Jays that we've all come to know and expect from the veteran: he swung so hard he fell to a knee.
There's a twist this time, though, courtesy of Toronto's R.A. Dickey. The knuckleballer's dancing pitches were (at least part of) the reason for Beltre's flails, and who can blame him?
Just last week, Yasiel Puig needed a time-out to process what he was seeing in front of his eyes while facing Dickey in Toronto. This was his reaction, a mixture of fascination and bemusement:
Thankfully, despite Beltre's wild bat toss, the protective netting at Globe Life Park appears to have prevented the bat from tomahawking its way into the stands.
