Give Bo Bichette a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for what he did to Clayton Kershaw last night
Bo Bichette is this summer's baseball crush. He's 21, he has wavy, horse-shampoo'd hair straight out of a fairy tale and he's absolutely wrecking big league pitching during his first few weeks in the Majors. He's maybe, already, even better than his dad -- who played for 14 years and hit dingers that still haven't come down yet.
And on Tuesday night, he and his Blue Jays headed into Hollywood to take on the Los Angeles Dodgers. More specifically, to take on Clayton Kershaw -- one of the best pitchers on the planet.
You'd think a 21-year-old rookie might be scared playing under the bright lights of L.A. He might be nervous taking on a three-time Cy Young Award winner, former MVP and sure-fire Hall of Famer.
That's just background noise to Bo.

But homering on the second pitch of the game against one of the greatest pitchers of all time wasn't enough. Not for Bo. Bo wanted more. Bo needed to eat.
So, when an otherwise-dominant Kershaw left a pitch out over the plate in the sixth inning, Bichette tanked another one deep into the California night.

And he enjoyed every single second of it.
It's a Hollywood debut for the ages. Like Leonardo DiCaprio in What's Eating Gilbert Grape or Johnny Depp in Nightmare on Elm Street. A timeless tale of a young, brash kid coming to town to challenge the established guard. It even felt like a movie for Bo.
¡°I¡¯ll be honest ¡ I didn¡¯t really feel my body, and I had a lot of adrenaline going on, way more than my debut,¡± said Bichette. ¡°I think being at Dodger Stadium, facing Kershaw, I was pretty amped up."
Give Bo a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Let him hit baseballs down Sunset Boulevard. Send the newest face of baseball's Generation Z out to take down all of the old Millennials.
I'm pretty sure there's nothing he'd like to do more.
