Francisco Lindor took a page out of pal Javier Baez's book with a fantastic slide on a stolen base

Sunday afternoon was just another stellar day for the Indians' superb shortstop, Francisco Lindor. He went 3-for-5 with a double in Cleveland's 9-2 win over the Tigers and added his own flair into the game.
In the fourth inning, Lindor singled and shortly thereafter, he darted to second on a stolen base attempt. Catcher John Hicks' throw had him beat, so Lindor improvised with a highlight-reel slide:

Lindor's left arm just barely evaded the tag from José Iglesias, and he was safe.
That kind of slide is one we've seen before, and from one of Lindor's closest friends in the Majors: Javier Báez.

Clearly, Lindor learned a lesson or two from Baez. It worked out well for the Indians, too, as Lindor eventually scored on a sacrifice fly from Melky Cabrera.
That's a winning Sunday to us.
