Josh Donaldson was feeling pretty great after a heads-up barehanded grab on an unusual 6-5-3 putout

Everything came up roses for the Braves on Monday night in their 8-0 win over the Cubs at SunTrust Park, and it was a particular defensive play that more or less summed up the evening's events for Atlanta.
Javier Baez slapped a grounder toward shortstop Dansby Swanson, but the ball clanged off his glove and bounced away. Dead play, infield hit for Baez, right? Nope. Instead, Swanson's glove betrayal more or less acted as a shovel pass to third baseman Josh Donaldson, who barehanded the ball and keyed an unorthodox (but very pretty) 6-5-3 putout.
Teamwork!
