The Syracuse Mets will become the Syracuse Butter Sculptures and the bobblehead is terrifying
For one day in 2019, the Syracuse Mets will honor farmers in New York State and play as the Syracuse Butter Sculptures. An intriguing concept. Fans of butter and baseball can attend the game on July 13 and, until then, ogle at their uniforms below:
There will also be a bobblehead giveaway featuring the team's mascot, Scooch. But please, don't look too hard at him. You'd be best not looking at all, actually. I ask you not to look.
You looked, didn't you? Buttery Scooch will now show up at your doorway at the stroke of midnight tonight, shivering in the cold winter air. He'll ask if you'd like some warm milk and whether you have a place for him to rest his big, bobbling head.
Don't say no.
