Here’s how all 30 teams’ prospects fared in the Futures Game

The next generation took a turn in the spotlight in Saturday's All-Star Futures Game.

An American League team hosted the festivities at Globe Life Field, but it was the National League that pulled out the 6-1 victory behind the big bats of the game's Most Valuable Player Cam Collier and Drake Baldwin. But the host city's Emiliano Teodo brought the heat as the only pitcher in Futures Game history to ever throw two perfect innings, and Kyle Teel doubled his pleasure as the only player with a multihit game in the contest.

AL EAST

BLUE JAYS -- Fernando Perez, RHP (No. 23): The native of Nicaragua came out of the bullpen in the sixth and allowed one run on one hit -- a solo shot by Drake Baldwin -- without issuing a walk. Perez induced a popup to center from MLB’s No. 4 prospect Dylan Crews to end the frame.

ORIOLES -- Samuel Basallo, C (No. 2/MLB No. 12): The 19-year-old got the start behind the dish for the American League squad and called the first two perfect innings by a pitcher in Futures Game history (thrown by Emiliano Teodo). Basallo also reached base in the first inning on a two-out walk.

RAYS -- Xavier Isaac, 1B (No. 3/MLB No. 31): The 2022 first-round pick got the start at first base for the AL and played the entire game there. He finished 0-for-4 at the plate with a pair of strikeouts. Chandler Simpson, OF (No. 10): Simpson entered the game in left in the fifth. He grounded back to the mound in his lone plate appearance.

RED SOX -- Kyle Teel (No. 3/MLB No. 24): Teel relieved Basallo behind the plate in the fifth and quickly contributed to the AL team’s offense. He doubled in the bottom of the inning but was stranded on third. He doubled again in the seventh en route to the only multihit game for either side. Marcelo Mayer (No. 1/MLB No. 7): Mayer also entered the game in the fifth and went 0-for-2 with two groundouts.

YANKEES -- Spencer Jones, OF (No. 2/MLB No. 74): Jones got the start in right field for the AL squad and was responsible for the team’s first run after working a five-pitch walk in the fourth, stealing second base and scampering home on an RBI single by Jaison Chourio.

AL CENTRAL

GUARDIANS -- Jaison Chourio, OF (No. 3/MLB No. 85): Starting in left field and batting eighth for the AL squad, 19-year-old Chourio finished the day 1-for-2 with an RBI single he laced to center field in the fourth to bring in the only run for the AL. Ralphy Velazquez, 1B (No. 4/MLB No. 87): Velazquez drew a four-pitch walk when he entered in the fourth and struck out in the sixth.

ROYALS -- Ben Kudrna, RHP (No. 3): Kudrna entered in the fifth and faced two batters, issuing a four-pitch walk and inducing a flyout to end his outing. Gavin Cross, OF (No. 7): The 2022-first rounder also entered in the fifth and reached base on an infield fielding error. He struck out on five pitches in the seventh.

TIGERS -- Max Clark, OF (No. 1/MLB No. 10): Clark played the whole game in center, going 1-for-4 with a line-drive single to left in the sixth. Hao-Yu Lee, 2B (No. 13): Lee entered the game in the fifth and grounded out on the first pitch he saw in his lone at-bat.

TWINS -- Luke Keaschall, 2B/OF (No. 5/MLB No. 94): The replacement for Brooks Lee entered in the fifth and struck out on a foul tip in the sixth.

WHITE SOX -- Colson Montgomery, SS (No. 1/MLB No. 16): Montgomery started at third base for the AL and reached base in both plate appearances, on a catcher’s interference in the second and a six-pitch walk in the fourth. Noah Schultz, LHP (No. 2/MLB No. 18): Schultz entered in the fourth and loaded the bases after allowing three straight singles. He issued a bases-loaded walk to Druw Jones, struck out Cam Collier, then plunked Aidan Miller and exited the game.

AL WEST

ANGELS -- Caden Dana, RHP, Angels (No. 1/MLB No. 90): The 20-year-old hurler was the first man out of the bullpen for the AL and gave up two hits, including Cam Collier's home run, and struck out one in one frame.

ASTROS -- A.J. Blubaugh, RHP (No. 6): The right-hander inherited a bases-loaded jam but limited the damage by getting back-to-back outs, although one of them resulted in a sacrifice fly by Drake Baldwin.

ATHLETICS -- Luis Morales, RHP (No. 2): The A’s top pitching prospect entered the game in the fifth and struck out two while cranking his fastball up to 99 mph.

MARINERS -- Cole Young, SS (No. 1/MLB No. 22): The 20-year-old started at second base and batted No. 2 in the order. He singled to left in his first at-bat and went 1-for-3 in the game. Harry Ford, C (No. 2/MLB No. 24): Great Britain’s favorite catcher started the game as the designated hitter in the No. 9 slot. He drew a walk on five pitches in his only plate appearance.

RANGERS -- Emiliano Teodo, RHP (No. 14): The 23-year-old became the first player in Futures Game history to toss two perfect innings. The right-hander filled the zone with 12 of his 14 pitches resulting in strikes, and notched one K. Sebastian Walcott, SS (No. 1/MLB No. 72): The 18-year-old started at shortstop at his parent club’s stadium and went 0-for-2. Winston Santos, RHP (No. 15): The 22-year-old allowed an unearned run on a hit and a walk with one strikeout while closing out the game in the seventh.

NL EAST

BRAVES -- Drake Baldwin, DH (No. 11): Baldwin, a catcher at Triple-A, smashed an opposite-field solo homer in the sixth. The drive over the wall in left-center field left his bat with an exit velocity of 107.3 mph and traveled a projected 411 feet. He also had a sacrifice fly in the fourth.

MARLINS -- Noble Meyer, RHP (No. 1/MLB No. 40): The 6-foot-5, 185-pound right-hander pitched a scoreless second for the NL squad, striking out two and walking one. Thomas White, LHP (No. 2/MLB No. 57): White entered in the fourth and gave up a run on one hit. He had some trouble finding the strike zone, walking three and striking out one over two-thirds of an inning.

METS -- Brandon Sproat, RHP (No. 6/MLB No. 97): Sproat pitched a scoreless third for the NL, working around an infield error by inducing a popout and a 6-4-3 double play.

NATIONALS -- Dylan Crews, OF (No. 2/MLB No. 4): Crews started in right field and went 0-for-3, flying out to center field in the first, popping out to second base in the third and flying out to center again in the sixth. He was also hit by a pitch in the fifth and showed off his wheels with a stolen base.

PHILLIES -- Aidan Miller, SS (No. 2/MLB No. 27): Miller went 0-for-1 and struck out in the third but picked up an RBI after getting hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the fourth. Justin Crawford, OF (No. 3/MLB No. 55): Crawford led off for the NL squad and played left. He went 1-for-3 with a 101.7 mph single to left in the third.

NL CENTRAL

BREWERS -- Cooper Pratt, SS (No. 4/MLB No. 95): Pratt entered in the fifth and popped out to first base in his lone at-bat.

CARDINALS -- Tink Hence, RHP (No. 1/MLB No. 42): As expected, St. Louis’ top prospect did not appear, hoping to remain fresh for the second half. Quinn Mathews, RHP (No. 2/MLB No. 99): Mathews threw a scoreless sixth for the NL, allowing one hit and striking out a pair.

CUBS -- Matt Shaw, 3B (No. 2/MLB No. 29): The Cubs’ 2023 first-rounder pinch-hit in the fifth and later replaced game MVP Cam Collier at third base, going hitless with a strikeout in two plate appearances. James Triantos (No. 4/MLB No. 53): Triantos, who earned his invite after organization mate Owen Caissie chose not to participate due to an ongoing back issue, grounded out in his only at-bat.

PIRATES -- Bubba Chandler, RHP (No. 1/MLB No. 51): Pittsburgh's top prospect closed out the NL’s victory, recording one strikeout in a scoreless seventh. Termarr Johnson, 2B (No. 2/MLB No. 76): Johnson got the start at second base, going 1-for-2 with a leadoff single in the fourth.

REDS -- Cam Collier, 3B (No. 3/MLB No. 84): Collier can still say he’s well ahead of the curve after becoming the second-youngest player to take home the Larry Doby Award as Futures Game MVP. He went 1-for-2, opening the scoring with his third-inning homer. Rhett Lowder, RHP (No. 1/MLB No. 20): Last year’s seventh overall pick tossed a scoreless fifth, working around a one-out double and notching one strikeout.

NL WEST

D-BACKS -- Druw Jones, OF (No. 3/MLB No. 79): Jones showed off his discerning eye at the plate by working three walks on an 0-for-1 afternoon as the NL center fielder. Deyvison De Los Santos, 1B (No. 14): De Los Santos went 0-for-2 with a strikeout and a groundout, but the latter brought across a run in the seventh.

DODGERS -- Thayron Liranzo, C (No. 8): Liranzo entered the game behind the plate in the fifth, drawing a walk in his first plate appearance and popping out his second time up. Jeral Perez, 2B (No. 17): Perez struck out in the fifth before lining a single to left and taking second on a fielding error in the seventh. He moved to third on a wild pitch and scored on a groundout.

GIANTS -- Bryce Eldridge, 1B (No. 2/MLB No. 70): Starting at first base and batting cleanup for the NL, Eldridge struck out in the second. He lined a single to left in the fourth and crossed the plate on a hit batsman.

PADRES -- Ethan Salas, C (No. 1/MLB No. 6): Salas popped out in his first at-bat in the second and beat out an infield single in the fourth. Robby Snelling, LHP (No. 2/MLB No. 46): Snelling got out of a bases-loaded jam in the fourth, getting Cole Young (MLB No. 22) -- the lone batter he faced -- to pop out to end the frame.

ROCKIES -- Chase Dollander, RHP (No. 1/MLB No. 36): The Rockies’ top prospect drew the start for the NL squad. Dollander worked around a single and a walk in a scoreless first inning.
