Waino finds weird way to escape a jam

Adam Wainwright found himself in a bases-loaded jam with two outs in the second inning of Tuesday night's 3-2 win over the Nationals. And he found his way out of the jam with a most unusual putout.
Washington pitcher Anibal Sanchez was at the plate, and he sent the ball back up the middle. Wainwright managed to kick the ball somehow, and it winded up rolling directly to first baseman Paul Goldschmidt, who stepped on the bag for the inning-ending out. Even Wainwright had to grin as he walked back toward the Cardinals' dugout.
