Reds acquire righty Warren from Rangers
CINCINNATI -- An Ohio native with Cincinnati ties, right-handed pitcher Art Warren was acquired by the Reds from the Rangers on Wednesday in exchange for cash considerations.
Warren, 27, saw his only big league experience come with the Mariners in 2019, and he made his debut against the Reds. He pitched 5 1/3 scoreless innings over six appearances during that season as a September callup.
From Napoleon, Ohio, Warren pitched for the University of Cincinnati in 2012-13 and at Ashland University in ĄŻ15. Seattle selected him in the 23rd round of the 2015 MLB Draft.

Warren posted a 1.71 ERA over 29 games at Double-A in 2019.
Last season, Warren remained at the Mariners' alternate training site in Tacoma, but he was claimed off waivers by the Rangers on Oct. 21. Texas decided to designate him for assignment on Dec. 26.
The RedsĄŻ 40-man roster is now at 35 players.
