Lin-Manuel Miranda working to bring Molina brothers to silver screen
Three brothers from Puerto Rico play in the Major Leagues at the same time, all as catchers, and each goes on to win multiple World Series rings?

Miranda disclosed over the weekend that he¡¯s planning a film about the Molinas, who grew up in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, which was also the hometown of Miranda¡¯s father. Former Yankees star Bernie Williams was also raised in Vega Alta, and Miranda said that honoring that town through a movie about the Molinas ¡°is something we¡¯re really actively trying to do.¡±
Miranda, most popularly known as the creator of the Broadway smash hit musical ¡°Hamilton¡± in 2015, has a direct connection to baseball as he is the cousin of Twins infielder Jose Miranda.

In 1998, Bengie became the first Molina brother to break into the Majors. Jos¨¦ followed in 1999, and Yadier arrived in '04. All three were active players from 2004-10.
They each played at least 13 years in the big leagues and combined for 4,077 hits. Bengie and Jos¨¦ were on the Angels¡¯ 2002 World Series team. Jos¨¦ won another ring with the Yankees in '09, while Bengie earned his second as a member of the '10 Giants.
Yadier was the most successful Molina brother, winning nine Gold Gloves, four Platinum Gloves, a Silver Slugger and two World Series titles during a 19-year career spent entirely with the Cardinals.
