Teenaged Top 100 prospects steal the show Saturday to lead top performers

Weather wreaked havoc on more than a few Minor League games, but there was still plenty of highlights. Top 100 prospects (and teenagers) Konnor Griffin, Jesús Made and Arjun Nimmala flexed their muscles, while Chase Burns took the mound for his Double-A debut in just his fourth professional start. Oh, and did we mention there was a cycle too? All that and more from Saturday's top prospect performers:

E.J. Exposito, SS, Rome (Unranked)
Exposito's second game back from injury turned into the best of his pro career. The 23-year-old put himself into the records books, completing the franchise's first cycle since 2014 and driving in three runs. Exposito was out of action from April 10-23 due to injury before rejoining the Emperors' lineup on Thursday night. Gameday

Konnor Griffin, SS/OF, Bradenton (PIT No. 2/MLB No. 40)
Griffin homered and drove in three runs for a second consecutive game while tallying three hits for the first time as a pro. The 19-year-old slugged a two-run jack for his fourth long ball of the season, drove in another run with a late-game single and swiped his 11th base. Griffin has scored 15 runs, driven in 14 and has a .782 OPS in 17 games for Single-A Bradenton. Gameday

Jesús Made, SS/3B, Carolina (MIL No. 2/MLB No. 52)
Made continues to play like a seasoned veteran, despite competing at Single-A at just 17 years old. The native of the Dominican Republic drove in a career-high five runs on the strength of his first grand slam as a pro and added a single to power the Single-A Mudcats. Made's fourth multihit performance of the year lifted his slash line to .273/.385/.473 with six extra-base hits and 11 RBIs in 14 games. Gameday

Chase Burns, RHP, Chattanooga (CIN No. 1/MLB No. 24)
Burns was promoted to Double-A after three strong starts in the High-A Midwest League. The 22-year-old made another good first impression in his debut with Double-A Chattanooga. Last year's second overall Draft pick allowed one run and scattered five hits and a walk -- which he erased on a pickoff -- while fanning five in four innings in his Lookouts debut. Burns has a 2.87 ERA and a 1.02 WHIP across his first four pro starts. Full story | Gameday

Arjun Nimmala, SS, Vancouver (TOR No. 1/MLB No. 83)
After going eight games without a homer, Nimmala has cleared the fences in consecutive games for High-A Vancouver. The 19-year-old ripped a ninth-inning long ball on Friday night and added a three-run jack Saturday to give him four in the first 17 contests of 2025. Nimmala is off to a solid start for the Canadians, batting .282 with an .853 OPS and eight extra-base hits. Gameday

LuJames Groover, INF, Amarillo (AZ No. 10)
Injury seemed to be the only thing that kept Groover from enjoying an All-Star-type season in 2024. Healthy again, the 23-year-old is living up to the potential that made him a second-round pick in the 2023 Draft. After collecting a single in the opener of Double-A Amarillo's doubleheader, Groover hit a pair of solo homers and singled during a perfect 3-for-3 nightcap. The NC State product is slashing .343/.410/.600 with 10 extra-base hits and 10 RBIs in 18 games following his third mulithomer game as a pro. Gameday
