18 members of '09 World Series champs to attend Yankees' Old-Timers' Day

CHICAGO -- The Yankees have announced the lineup for the 76th Old-Timers¡¯ Day at Yankee Stadium, which is scheduled to be held on Aug. 24 and will commemorate the 15th anniversary of New York's 2009 World Series championship club.
Eighteen members of the 2009 ¡°Mission 27¡± club will reunite in the Bronx prior to that day¡¯s scheduled 2:05 p.m. ET game against the Rockies, including eight first-time Old-Timers¡¯ Day attendees: A.J. Burnett, Francisco Cervelli, Phil Coke, Eric Hinske, Damaso Marte, Jos¨¦ Molina, Alex Rodriguez and CC Sabathia.
Other representatives of the 2009 Yankees roster expected to attend include Johnny Damon, Joe Girardi, Jerry Hairston Jr., Derek Jeter, Hideki Matsui, Gene Monahan, Andy Pettitte, Jorge Posada, Mariano Rivera and Nick Swisher.
Fans are asked to be in their seats by 12 p.m. ET on the day of the game for Old-Timers¡¯ introductions, which will be read by Michael Kay. As in recent years, there will be no Old-Timers¡¯ game played; instead, a Q&A session will be held with the players, hosted by Girardi and Suzyn Waldman.
The roster includes nine Monument Park inductees: Jeter, Tino Martinez, Paul O¡¯Neill, Pettitte, Posada, Willie Randolph, Rivera, Joe Torre and Bernie Williams. Joining them will be current Yankees manager Aaron Boone, 1998 ALCS MVP Orlando ¡°El Duque¡± Hern¨¢ndez and 1978 World Series MVP Bucky Dent.
Other notable invitees include David Cone, Brian Doyle, John Flaherty, Graeme Lloyd, Jill Martin (widow of Billy Martin), Diana Munson (widow of Thurman Munson), Kay Murcer (widow of Bobby Murcer), Jeff Nelson, Gil Patterson, Lou Piniella and Roy White.
