Angels Announce 2025 Regular Season Schedule
Major League Baseball today announced the 2025 regular season schedule. The Angels will begin their 65th season with an Opening Day game on Thursday, March 27 at Chicago (A.L.).
It will mark the earliest Opening Day in Angels history, breaking the previous mark from earlier this year on March 28, 2024 at Baltimore. Additionally, it will be the eighth time the Angels begin a season against the White Sox and fifth time opening in Chicago. The Halos last opened a campaign against the White Sox in 2021 at Angel Stadium and last opened in Chicago in 1988 at Comiskey Park.
Following a six-game opening road trip against the White Sox (March 27, March 29-30) and Cardinals (March 31 ¨C April 2) and an off day, the Angels will host the Cleveland Guardians in the Home Opener at Angel Stadium on April 4. Overall, the Angels 2025 schedule features 12 total homestands and 12 road trips.
In 2025, the Angels will have a pair of homestands featuring 10 games in 11 days, from May 1-11 (vs. Detroit/Toronto/Baltimore) and July 24 ¨C Aug. 3 (vs. Seattle/Texas/Chicago (A.L.)). The road schedule features three different three-city trips: May 12-22 (at Padres/Dodgers/Athletics), Aug. 25 ¨C Sept. 4 (at Rangers/Astros/Royals) and Sept. 11-21 (at Mariners/Brewers/Rockies). During a stretch between May 1-28, the Angels will play all of their games in the state of California. The regular season will conclude on Sept. 28 vs. Houston at Angel Stadium, which will be a third consecutive season finale at home.
The Angels will play a franchise record 48 Interleague games next year, including six games against the Dodgers and three games against each of the other 14 National League teams. The home Interleague schedule features visits from the San Francisco Giants (April 18-20), Pittsburgh Pirates (April 22-24), Miami Marlins (May 23-25), Washington Nationals (June 27-29), Arizona Diamondbacks (July 11-13), Cincinnati Reds (Aug. 18-20), and Chicago Cubs (Aug. 22-24). The road Interleague schedule features trips to play the St. Louis Cardinals (March 31 ¨C April 2), San Diego Padres (May 12-14), Atlanta Braves (July 1-3), Philadelphia Phillies (July 18-20), New York Mets (July 21-23), Milwaukee Brewers (Sept. 16-18) and Colorado Rockies (Sept. 19-21). In Freeway Series action, the Angels will visit Dodger Stadium for three games from May 16-18 and will host three games at Angel Stadium from Aug. 11-13.
