Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association and Youth Futures International to host golf tournament in Las Vegas
Colorado Springs, Colo. ¨C The Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association and Youth Futures International will host a celebrity golf tournament featuring Hall of Famers, former MLB All-Stars, World Series champions and other alumni. The event will take place Monday, Nov. 7, 2022, with proceeds benefitting Youth Futures International, a non-profit maximizing young leaders¡¯ potential to impact their world through public health, education and sports initiatives. A portion of the proceeds will also benefit southern Nevada-based The Shade Tree, which provides safe shelter and life-changing services to victims of domestic violence and human trafficking.
Alumni and current players attending* the event include Hall of Famer Rollie Fingers, six-time All-Star Jos¨¦ Canseco, three-time Gold Glove Award winner Amos Otis, two-time World Series Champions Jim Leyritz, Aaron Rowand and Shane Victorino, as well as Mike Burns, Chris Carter, Mike Gallo, Chad Gaudin, Gorman Heimueller, Chad Hermansen, Trent Hubbard, Chasen Shreve and Josh Towers. These 15 players combine for 146 seasons, 10,846 games, 21 All-Star appearances and 12 World Series championships in Major League Baseball.
The golf event will take place at the Revere Golf Club located at 2600 Hampton Road, Henderson, NV, 89052, starting with a 7 a.m. tee time.
