Annual Astros Media Luncheon set for Feb. 4

HOUSTON, TX — Astros Manager Joe Espada and General Manager Dana Brown will be available to the media at the annual Astros Media Luncheon on Tuesday, Feb. 4. The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. and will be held in the Diamond Club at Daikin Park.

The first Spring Training workout for Astros pitchers and catchers is Feb. 13, while the first full squad workout will be Feb. 18. The luncheon will provide media members a final opportunity to interview Espada and Brown in Houston prior to the start of Spring Training.

What’s New in 2025?

The luncheon will include the official launch of the Astros new 2025 Campaign along with details of a variety of exciting promotions set for the upcoming season. Samples of new Astros merchandise will also be shared – plus Aramark will introduce some exciting menu items that will be available this season at Daikin Park.

Spring Training Equipment Truck

The Astros clubhouse staff will load the Spring Training equipment truck the morning of Feb. 6. Media are welcome to shoot b-roll of the loading between 9:30 am - 11 am (at the loading dock off Congress St.). Once loaded, the truck will depart for the 1,115-mile trip to the CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches Spring Training complex in West Palm Beach, FL.
