Blue Jays claim Lawrence

The Toronto Blue Jays have claimed RHP Casey Lawrence off waivers from the Seattle Mariners.

Lawrence, 37, has appeared in four games with Seattle this season, posting a 3.60 ERA over 10.0 innings. The 6-0, 180 lb. right-hander rejoins the Blue Jays, having pitched in a combined 10 MLB games for the organization between 2017 and 2022. The McSherrystown, PA, native has made a total of 63 appearances (two starts) between the Blue Jays, Mariners, and Cardinals, going 5-5 with a 6.51 ERA in 134.0 combined innings.
