Cleveland Guardians and Pittsburgh Pirates complete trade
CLEVELAND, OH ¨C The Cleveland Guardians today announced the following transaction:
Traded RHP Peter Strzelecki to the Pittsburgh Pirates in exchange for cash considerations. Strzelecki was designated for assignment on November 19.
Strzelecki, 30, spent the 2024 season with ClevelandĄ¯s organization after being acquired from the Arizona Diamondbacks on March 28, appearing in five stints with the Major League club. The right-hander worked solely out of the bullpen in 10 Major League appearances, sporting a 2.31 ERA in 11.2 innings of work.
