Free Skate Days Presented by the A's at the Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (November 26, 2024) ¨C Lace up those skates and hit the ice for Free Skate Days presented by the Athletics! This winter, the Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink is teaming up with the A¡¯s to provide three special afternoons of free skating as the community gears up for the MLB games starting in March just a few blocks away.
Make plans for these free skate dates -- November 30, December 28, and January 18. From noon to 2:00 p.m., the first 300 people will skate for free¡ªso gather friends, family and A¡¯s gear, and hit the ice! Don¡¯t miss this chance to skate, celebrate, and kick off a new chapter in Sacramento sports history.
A¡¯s President Dave Kaval said, ¡°We¡¯ve always known Sacramento is a great sports town with passionate fans, but the welcoming nature of the community has been next level. We¡¯re excited to offer this free skating experience and look forward to supporting many more events that bring people together across the Greater Sacramento area.¡±

The Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink is the place to make your holiday celebrations complete located at 7th and K streets in between the holiday tree in Old Sacramento Waterfront and the shows at the SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center.
