Jack McMullen named the new lead radio voice of the Miami Marlins?
MIAMI ¨C The Miami Marlins announced today that the club has hired Jack McMullen as the lead play-by-play voice of the Marlins Radio Network.
McMullen joins the Marlins after spending the previous three seasons on the radio broadcast for the Indianapolis Indians, the Triple-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. A graduate of S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, McMullen got his start in the industry by calling games for the 2018 Brewster Whitecaps in the Cape Cod League and the 2019 Auburn Doubledays, the previous Short-Season A affiliate of the Washington Nationals.
The Chicago, Ill., native has worked as a Show Host, and Director of Podcasting for Just Baseball Media since the start of 2021, overseeing the network that brought in over one million listeners in its first full year of existence and hosting the brand¡¯s flagship show, ¡°The Just Baseball Show.¡± His other experience includes play-calling for ESPN+/Learfield and working as part of the broadcast and production teams for various programs during his time at Syracuse, including football, men¡¯s basketball, and men¡¯s lacrosse.

McMullen will make his Marlins Radio Network debut as the club opens its 2025 Spring Training slate against the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday, February 22. He will have the call for all 30 Marlins Spring Training games and all 162 regular season games on WINZ 940, the Marlins English Radio flagship station.
Joining McMullen on the Marlins Radio Network will be a rotation of analysts, with returning voices Rod Allen, Jeff Nelson, Gaby S¨¢nchez, and Kelly Saco. New to the rotation¡¯s lineup are Craig Minervini, three-time Emmy Award-winning broadcaster with more than 20 years of broadcasting experience, and AJ Ramos, former Marlins All-Star reliever and current MLB analyst on SiriusXM. McMullen will also work closely with Marlins pregame show host Stephen Strom on developing ancillary Marlins Radio Network content.
