SAN DIEGO – Due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, the San Diego Rodeo has announced a total donation of more than $100,000 benefitting charitable organizations helping animals impacted and displaced by this natural disaster. The donation, which started as a $50,000 contribution from this year’s San Diego Rodeo, was generously matched by Padres minority owner, Alfredo Harp Helú. The total amount of funds raised from the rodeo, Harp, and the event’s “text-to-give” opportunity will be donated to the Pasadena Humane Society in support of their animal relief efforts for the Los Angeles wildfires.
