Aaron Judge got a little assistance from right fielder Victor Reyes on a homer
Aaron Judge is strong enough that he doesn't normally need any help crushing dingers left and right. But during the Yankees' 7-1 win over the Tigers on Sunday, he was the lucky benefactor on a weird play involving fellow right fielder Victor Reyes.
Having already belted an opposite-field homer in the first inning that sailed just out of Reyes' reach, Judge took aim at the right-field wall again in the fifth. This one looked like it would fall a little short ... until Reyes accidentally intervened:

Second dinger of the day for him, second dinger the other way.

Tough break. It's not too often you get a chance to prevent Judge from extra-base hits, and Reyes came oh-so-close to catching that ball.
Instead, it went for a two-run blast. The Rays' Austin Meadows could likely feel Reyes' pain, as the same thing happened to him with David Peralta when he was with the Pirates in 2018.
Hey, it could be worse. At least neither of them pulled a Canseco.
