Austin Wynns got his first Major League hit on Tuesday, and his mom reacted in the most adorable way
The Orioles promoted catcher
In the top of the second during the Orioles-Mets game, on a 1-1 pitch, the 27-year-old smacked a line drive to left field. The camera quickly found his mom, who waved and blew him a kiss from the stands:
The dugout quickly grabbed on to the ball for safekeeping.
That is one proud mama.
"She blew me a kiss? Oh my gosh," Wynns told Ghiroli. "That's my mom. It was just all smiles. I was like, 'Wow.' Just took a deep breath and took it in and was like 'Wow.' Words can't even describe it. It was just a weight off my shoulders too. It was incredible."

"The first step, Jones took me out there too," Wynn said. "He was like 'Take it in, kid.' I was like, 'Yeah. I'm taking it in.'"
