Photo of the Day: Bryce Harper and Kris Bryant are the league's Most Valuable Friends
Las Vegas is quite the town: Flashing lights, world-class shows and a couple of native-son MVPs. Yes,
Still, they will always feel linked by their hometown pride, as evidenced by this photo Harper shared on his Instagram Tuesday night:
What a time to be alive, indeed. We get to watch Harper do stuff like this:
And Bryant do things like this:
Regardless of their ability on the field, we know Harper and Bryant have a lasting friendship off of it. They both received keys to the city of Las Vegas back in 2015:
Big thank you to Mayor Goodman and the city of Las Vegas for this honor! Proud to be born&raised in this city!?#702 pic.twitter.com/vN57rjyjMw

They even played together and against each other back when they were both just kids, as told by the duo when they hosted a charity poker and golf tournament together:
"When we were younger, we used to call him 'Silk,'" Harper said before the two played against each other for the first time in the Majors last May. "He was so smooth with everything he did. He played third, played short, played a little outfield when we were younger. He pitched, of course, and he always hit very well."
It's good to know the Las Vegas bond runs deep.
