Most baseball players played another sport in high school. If you have the athleticism to make it into professional baseball, it makes sense that athleticism would apply to other sports. Usually, that other sport tends to be football, basketball or even golf.

That's right, growing up, Reed was an elite-level hockey player and was good enough to receive a full scholarship to play at a boarding school at one point. We were curious about Reed's hockey career, so we asked him about it before Sunday's SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game.
