Chris Paddack learned he made the Padres roster while on the mound and couldn't contain his joy
Usually when a pitcher is removed from the game, there are grimaces, unrepeatable epithets and a Charlie Brown walk back to the dugout. Things were a little different for Padres pitcher Chris Paddack during some Spring Training action on Monday night.
When manager Andy Green came out to lift the Padres' No. 5 prospect, they had a little chat. At some point, Green must have let it out that Paddack would be on the Opening Day roster because the pitcher couldn't contain a smile as he received claps and pats on the back from his teammates.
Start your morning off on a good note. Here's the moment (presumably) that Chris Paddack found out he made the @Padres #OpeningDay roster.

Well, it's either that or Green told him that there were ice cream sandwiches waiting in the clubhhouse.
