Clint Frazier's newest modified cleats paid tribute to a Yankees legend
This season, Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier has probably showcased the most innovative and inventive footwear in the game as he's taken to modifying regular sneakers for wear on the diamond. The results have been -- at risk of understating it -- fantastic.
For Saturday afternoon's game against the Royals, Frazier brought out a new pair of cleats. Obviously, they were fashionable -- that goes without saying. But, this time he took it to another level with a tribute to a Yankees legend by modifying a pair of Air Jordan Derek Jeters.
These cleats may come with special powers because, in his first at-bat of the game, Frazier hit a home run:

If the Jeter shoes imbue this sort of power on their wearer, imagine what would happen if Frazier got a hold of some Babe Ruth shoes?
