Oakland native Damian Lillard rocked a custom A's jersey ahead of Blazers/Warriors Game 1
The Western Conference Finals showdown between the Portland Trail Blazers and Golden State Warriors is a weighty, marquee pairing of two powerhouse NBA teams -- and it's especially big for Blazers star Damian Lillard.
Dame is a proud product of Oakland, after all, and he grew up rooting for the Warriors and was a standout basketball star for St. Joseph Notre Dame High School in Alameda and Oakland High School.
So when he showed up in the city ahead of Tuesday night's Game 1 match up at Oracle Arena, he rocked a custom green-and-gold A's jersey to mark the occasion:

I can't lie, that's a fresh look for Dame. And, with the Warriors moving across the Bay to San Francisco and the Chase Center beginning next season, the Oakland aesthetic of Lillard has not gone unnoticed.
He's as 510 as they get, after all.

The A's, understandably conflicted considering Lillard is playing against the team currently in Oakland, captured the moment perfectly on Twitter:
