Dave Roberts hung out with Shaq at Kobe Bryant's number retirement ceremony

Monday night was a big one for the city of Los Angeles: 18 months after he played his final game, the Lakers honored Kobe Bryant by retiring both his No. 8 and his No. 24. As you might imagine, all the stars came out to pay their respects -- up to and including Dodgers Dave Roberts and Kenley Jansen, who are apparently best friends with Shaquille O'Neal now:

Of course, he wasn't the only notable L.A. athlete to participate in the festivities. When he found some free time away from posting pictures of swords, Yasiel Puig also gave a shout out to the Black Mamba:
