But while Freeman has doled out a great many hugs during his Major League career, we feel confident saying that none of them can match Wednesday night's. His three-hit game had just helped Atlanta to a 7-0 win over the Mets, and no one was more excited to celebrate than Freeman's young son, Frederick Charles "Charlie" Freeman II:
