Prepare for October by reliving the Dodgers' historic 2017 season

What an insane year for the Dodgers. After blistering through July like a bat out of hell, L.A. hit a wall in late August and dropped 15 games out of 16. But that doesn't really matter anymore. Here they are: October bound, NL West champs for the fifth consecutive year, with probably the strongest team they've had in recent memory.
Before the postseason starts in earnest, let's take a look back at the Dodgers' historic and unforgettable season.
Who's "The Dude?"
Despite all the good, young position players the Dodgers have -- Seager, Bellinger, Puig, etc -- this is Clayton Kershaw's baseball team. Whether or not he wins the National League Cy Young Award, Kershaw did more than enough this season to retain the title of "The Greatest Pitcher on Planet Earth."
Kersh is arguably already the best pitcher ever without a ring, but could this be the year Kershaw gets his?

Unsung Hero
Chris Taylor is so scrappy, his beard is made of sandpaper. After three mediocre seasons in Seattle, Taylor is suddenly one of the most valuable players on the best team in baseball. He's got sneaky pop, can steal bases and plays a consistent left field for the Dodgers. Also, he always looks like he's trying really, really hard which always makes for a fun watch.

Longest Dinger of the Season

Any home run hit out to center field in San Francisco is impressive, but this Seager dinger is more than just a wall scraper. This thing went like ten-plus rows up. Also insane: Corey Seager hit a ball 462 feet opposite field.
Coolest Moment
When a team has a stretch where it wins 43 of 50 games, there are gonna be a lot of cool moments. But when you look back on the 2017 Dodgers season, you'll have to think about the Kyle Farmer walk-off double.
Back on July 30, Farmer -- a 27-year-old rookie -- laced a two-run double down the right-field line in the bottom of the 11th to give L.A. a 3-2 victory over the Giants. And, oh yeah, it was Farmer's first career at-bat.
