Jackie Bradley Jr. cared not for the Derby champ as he robbed Aaron Judge of a HR

One week ago, nothing could stop Aaron Judge. The Yankees slugger bashed home run after home run, caring not for his competition or the Marlins Park roof as he emerged with the title of T-Mobile Home Run Derby champion. Entering Sunday night's 3-0 loss to the Red Sox, Judge looked almost mortal as he hadn't homered since the All-Star break.
That appeared to change in the eighth inning. Note I said "appeared." Trailing by three and with a runner on, Judge sent David Price's offering deep to center field. Surely the lead was going to be cut down. Only problem? Jackie Bradley Jr. was in center field and he cares not for home run gods.

If this was a Grecian myth and Judge was a home run god, then Bradley surely has earned some supernatural gift. Given the distance he covered and height he leaped, perhaps he had them all along.
"It's one of those balls you just try to time up," Bradley said. "It was in the air. Those are the type of plays, they rarely happen. A lot of different things have got to go the right way. Gotta be just far enough over the wall, but short enough where you can grab it. And you've got to be able to get back there in time."

Given how unlikely it was for Bradley to bring it back, it's no surprise that Price was all smiles:

Mookie Betts was pretty shocked, too. "It actually made the hair stand up on my arms. It was electric," Betts told MLB.com's Ian Browne after the game. "t was just a fun moment to be a part of."
