James Paxton threw the third no-hitter of 2018 -- and all three have come in different countries
Even cooler, Paxton pitched the masterpiece in his native land of Canada. Big Maple was born in Ladner, British Columbia, and joins Dick Fowler as the only Canadians to accomplish the feat.
Even cooler than cool, or ice cold, or whatever -- this is not only the third no-hitter of 2018, but also the third different country one has been thrown in.
Oakland, U.S.A:
Monterrey, Mexico: A foursome of Dodgers held the Padres hitless during the recent series south of the border.
Toronto, Canada: And, as we mentioned above and you've probably noticed on social media, Paxton took care of business in the Great White North:

We can only assume that the next no-hitter will be in 2019 -- either in Japan or London.
