Jose Altuve visits 'Tonight Show' after World Series, meets 'Stranger Things' kids
On Wednesday, he and the Astros won the World Series for the first time in the team's history -- and celebrated appropriately on the field and in the clubhouse at Dodger Stadium. On Friday, they'll return home to Houston for a parade through the streets of the city.
But New York City was where Altuve found himself on Thursday night, for a guest appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" -- and Fallon was ready for some fun (and is obviously in-tune with some recent Altuve-related headlines):
So excited to talk to World Series champ Jose Altuve tonight! @JoseAltuve27, I literally love you!

Also on the program were Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Noah Schnapp from the hit Netflix series "Stranger Things" -- and they all posed with Altuve for a great backstage photo:

Fallon at one point donned a new Astros cap in honor of their World Series title, and Altuve approved of his new look:
