Josh Reddick could only laugh after running into the brick wall that is Pete Alonso
You live, you learn, right? That's what they say, and it's definitely what Josh Reddick experienced on Monday afternoon in the Astros' Spring Training game with the Mets.
After dropping down a bunt, Reddick hustled down the first-base line, but the throw pulled Mets first baseman Pete Alonso a bit into his path. What resulted was a scary-looking collision:

Look at that helmet, just flying off Reddick's head like it didn't want to be there!
Alonso is listed at 6-foot-3, 245 pounds so it's clear that running full-bore into him isn't very advisable if it can be avoided. It did, however, lead to an amusing call-and-response pair of tweets from the two later in the day.
They said I¡¯m all good to go ??I¡¯m so sorry and I¡¯m glad you¡¯re ok

Lesson learned, and glad they're both OK after that initially scary collision.
