Minor League manager Omar Vizquel turned his lineup card into a work of art
You might remember Omar Vizquel for his decades of defensive wizardry at shortstop, but did you know that he also happens to be a talented artist? Since retiring from the Majors in 2012, Vizquel has managed to find time to hone his craft while also serving in a couple different coaching positions.
This year, the White Sox gave Vizquel his first managerial job at the helm of the Carolina League's Winston-Salem Dash. It's an exciting opportunity, but that doesn't mean that he's forgotten about his art. In fact, he discovered how to make the two interests converge on Tuesday -- by decorating the lineup card:
Tonight's lineup is a work of art...literally.

Incredible. Not even Don Wakamatsu's calligraphy lineups can compare to that.
The only thing that might be better than the final result is Vizquel's creative process. To say that he has fun would be an understatement:
As the old saying goes, if you love what you do, then it's never work.
