Rougned Odor made a great leaping grab and made sure teammates knew about it
Self-promotion is essential to ensure that one's accomplishments receive the recognition they deserve. With the Rangers hanging on to a one-run lead against the Padres in the eighth inning Wednesday night, Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor leaped to catch a line drive from Ryan Schimpf to prevent the Padres from likely putting a runner in scoring position.
And he didn't let his spectacular leaping catch go unnoticed.
An avid horseman, Odor likely hasn't been that high off the ground since the last time he took one of his horses out for a ride.
Thanks in part to Odor's hops, the Rangers hung on to beat the Padres, 4-3.
