Meet the Little League versions of Cody Bellinger and Aaron Judge, future Rookies of the Year
Combining for 91 homers, 211 RBIs and a cumulative 13.2 WAR, Aaron Judge of the Yankees and Cody Bellinger of the Dodgers put on quite a show this past season. The two young phenoms were so good that they received Rookie of the Year Awards on Monday -- both elected unanimously by the Baseball Writers' Association of America.
Years before they put on pinstripes and Dodger Blue, respectively, Judge and Bellinger were stars on the Little League scene ... as flashed back by @LittleLeague with this adorable photo after Monday's news:

While it doesn't appear as if Judge, who suited up for Linden (Calif.) Little League, played in the Little League World Series, Bellinger sure did -- he was a key contributor for a 2007 Chandler (Ariz.) National Little League team that made it to the U.S. Semifinals:
Flash forward a few years -- and a few thousand feet of combined dingers clubbed in ballparks around the country all season -- and the two headline a promising core of young stars for years to come.
