Despite a valiant effort, Adam Engel lost the ball and his glove on this Shohei Ohtani homer
Shohei Ohtani is very good at hitting home runs. This is a fact. Entering the Angels' game against the White Sox on Friday night, Ohtani had hit one every 13.7 at-bats, which would be just behind MVP Award-candidate Jose Ramirez if Ohtani had enough at-bats to qualify for the batting title.

Engel raced back, back, back. He leapt and ... not only did he fail to rob the homer, but to add insult to injury, he lost his glove, too.
Hey, at least he came close enough that Ohtani slowed going around second as he was unsure if the ball had made it out of the park. That's got to count for something.
