The D-backs are donning space helmets because apparently their next game is not on Earth
Baseball teams have played games in some peculiar places over the years. They've faced off on cliffs, on ice and even aboard aircraft carriers.
But now, finally, the D-backs have given us the MLB dream destination we've always hoped for: Baseball ... in space:
Unfortunately, as you may have guessed, we are joking. The D-backs are not playing their next game in space. They are, however, traveling to Houston after Tuesday's game against the Astros -- home of the NASA Space Center and Apollo missions. So, the helmets are somewhat necessary.
