Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s first Triple-A home run was a mammoth blast to deep center field
All Vladimir Guerrero Jr. does is hit. In 61 games in the Eastern League this season, he hit .402 with 14 home runs, including some that went quite far. He was promoted to Triple-A on July 31 and has also hit there. In his first seven games with the Buffalo Bisons, he hit .389, but he had not hit a home run.
On Wednesday night, Vlad Jr. hit his first Triple-A dinger, and it was one to remember indeed. He sent it plenty high and plenty deep to center field:

Fortunately, he'll always have the ball to mark the occasion:
It finally came down, so we put it in #VladJr¡¯s locker!

With that out of the way, the countdown to Guerrero Jr.'s first Major League home run feels a bit more real. Given that he's already homered in a (former) MLB stadium, he's already proven to be more than capable of the feat.
