It's October, so David Ortiz legged out a double faster than he did all season

Despite being, in the words of former teammate Jon Lester, a "Large Father," David Ortiz legged out 48 doubles during the regular season, more than anyone in MLB. Just goes to show: Don't underestimate his speed. 
But we all know that there is no Big Papi quite like October Papi, and in the eighth inning of the Red Sox's 5-4 loss to the Indians in Game 1 of the ALDS on Thursday night, he hit the first double of his final postseason ...

And, according to Statcast™, ran faster than he ran all year:

Why yes, that was @davidortiz’s fastest home-to-second time of the season.

In fact, that was his fastest run of the Statcast™ era, beating his previous best of 9.04 seconds. That one came in the bottom of the ninth of a matchup against the Rangers on May 21 of last year.
The Indians eventually challenged whether Ortiz was safe, but of course he was. There's a band named after his blazing speed on the basepaths for a reason.
