Here's the Blue Jays' Spring Breakout roster

DUNEDIN, Fla. -- Given the uncertain futures of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette, questions about the future of the Blue Jays will hang over this season. This year¡¯s Spring Breakout game will give you a look at some of the potential answers.

Baseball¡¯s best prospect showcase is back in 2025, with 72 of MLB¡¯s Top 100 prospects on rosters, including 20 of the top 30. The Blue Jays will be stacking their roster with six of their top seven prospects, including Arjun Nimmala (No. 1), Trey Yesavage (No. 2) and Orelvis Martinez (No. 3).

Many of these top prospects will get a brief taste of big league action through camp, but that often comes late in games alongside some of the Blue Jays¡¯ reserves. The Spring Breakout is all about prospects, showing the best each system has to offer ahead of a crucial season for this organization¡¯s player development group.

What is Spring Breakout?

MLB Spring Breakout is a four-day event showcasing baseball¡¯s future: the current stars of Minor League Baseball. The second edition will be held from March 13-16 at Grapefruit and Cactus League stadiums during Spring Training. Sixteen exhibition games will be played between teams comprised of each MLB organization¡¯s top prospects, creating a new touchpoint on the baseball calendar that celebrates the sport¡¯s budding talent.

When is the Blue Jays¡¯ game?

The Blue Jays will host the Twins at TD Ballpark in Dunedin, Fla., on March 15 with first pitch scheduled for 1:07 p.m. ET.

Which position players are expected to play?

Nimmala and Martinez lead the hitting group, representing some of the highest upside in the organization, while outfielder Alan Roden (No. 5) will carry some great momentum into the game as he continues to fight for a roster spot early in the season.

In terms of prospects who could make an impact on the Blue Jays in the short term, you¡¯ll also see shortstop Josh Kasevich (No. 7), speedy Canadian outfielder Dasan Brown (No. 28) and the towering, power-hitting first baseman, Peyton Williams (No. 29).

Which pitching prospects are expected to play?

The Blue Jays have grown their middle- and upper-level pitching depth, which you¡¯ll see plenty of. That group includes Jake Bloss (No. 6), who could pitch for the Blue Jays in a number of roles this season.

Why are certain top prospects not listed on the roster?

Injuries will keep you from seeing some of the Blue Jays' top pitching prospects, unfortunately, which has been too common of a story over the past year for this club. Ricky Tiedemann (No. 4) is still working his way back from elbow surgery, and the same goes for Landen Maroudis (No. 8), who will return to the mound early this season and is dripping with upside.
