Boston Red Sox Announce Partnership with Gifford's HomeMaine Ice Cream
Unveil New Red Sox Branded "Cookie Curveball" Ice Cream
BOSTON, MA ¨C The Boston Red Sox and Gifford's HomeMaine Ice Cream, of Skowhegan, Maine, announced today the launch of a Red Sox branded, baseball themed flavor, which will be available across the entire New England region. The two partners begin the second year of a multi-year partnership with the introduction of a custom new ice cream flavor ¨C Cookie Curveball ¨C made by Gifford's and dedicated to the Boston Red Sox loyal fan base. The new flavor described as "a one-of-a-kind flavor that Sox fans are sure to love. Crafted with deliciously, rich coffee ice cream, it features pieces of cream-filled chocolate cookies and chocolate chips for an indulgent twist." The flavor was developed by the Gifford's family as a special tribute to their favorite Major League Baseball team.

Beginning early this month, Cookie Curveball will be available for fans at major grocery store chains, including Hannaford and Shaw's, as well as independent retailers throughout New England.
