Team to watch
The Single-A Carolina Mudcats have grown used to sporting Brewers prospects who skip over the Arizona Complex League -- namely Yophery Rodriguez, Luis Lara and most notably Jackson Chourio in recent years. This year, they boast two in Made and Pe?a. Made¡¯s Dominican Summer League performance pushed him into the Top 100 Prospects list, while Pe?a also has the makings of an above-average hitter with plus-plus speed. They won¡¯t be alone on the Carolina infield with Bitonti and his immense raw power. First-rounder Payne gives the outfield group a potential star too, and second-rounder Meccage leads the rotation.

Players we could see in MLB in 2025
Everyone¡¯s waiting to see if Misiorowski and his elite arsenal will make Milwaukee as a starter or a reliever, but he should see the Majors in some capacity this summer. Yoho -- last season's best statistical reliever in the Minors -- should also help the MLB bullpen with his elite changeup and impressive sweeper. Henderson and Rodriguez are expected to contribute to the club¡¯s starting depth as well. Black will be an option on the hitting side, likely as a first baseman, once he recovers from a broken right hamate sustained late in spring, and Quero is still building back up from last year¡¯s right shoulder surgery and a late hamstring injury that set him back in recent days. He is expected to return to Minor League play (likely with Nashville) in late April, and he could be an elite defensive option for Pat Murphy & Co., perhaps by the second half.
New faces
Durbin is the freshest stateside face here after he was acquired from the Yankees in the offseason in the Devin Williams deal. He was a candidate to make the Major League club, given the opening at third base, but he instead slots in with Nashville as he waits for that elusive MLB debut. Lower down, Meccage¡¯s first appearance with Carolina will represent his organizational debut because he didn¡¯t pitch in an official game after last year¡¯s Draft.
On the shelf
Quero isn¡¯t the only one still building up from shoulder issues. Boeve underwent right labrum surgery in October after dealing with shoulder problems on and off last season -- he still hit .338 in 79 games -- and he is building up back in Maryvale. He is expected to return to play in early- to mid-May. Gasser underwent Tommy John surgery around the middle of the 2024 season and likely won¡¯t be an option for Milwaukee until late in the second half, if at all, while Knoth had the same procedure this offseason and will miss the entire 2025 campaign.
